Margaret Anne Smith

Margaret Anne was born in Louisville, Kentucky.  She is married to Terry, her best friend here on earth, since May 20, 1969.  They were blessed with two children: Shannon David, and Brian Sebastian. Terry and Margaret Anne have two grandsons: Shane Andrew, and  Chaz Hunter.

Education
Margaret earned a degree in Christian Education at the Boyce Bible School in 1986.  She attended the Southern Baptist Theological School of Music from 1987 - 1989.

Hobbies and Interests
Hobbies include Interior Decorating, the outdoors, and helping others.  Margaret's interests are Gospel music, traveling, and writing.  Her passions are encouraging others to press on, evangelistic mission work, and singing to anyone who will listen. 

Personality
Margaret is independent, determined, positive, hopeful, very compassionate, and social.  She loves comfortable furniture, beautiful mountain sunsets, and wakes up every morning expecting God to do something new and wonderful!

Current Ministries
Since 1986, Terry and Margaret Anne have led and directed a not-for-profit 501(C) 3 inter-denominational ministry named Old Roads Ministries Inc. 

Since 1987, they have led short-term mission trips yearly to Jamaica, West Indies, where they have helped to raise the money and built two Christian schools.  They also work with many of the prisons, orphanages, and churches there to help supply their needs.

Stateside
Terry and Margaret Anne travel doing evangelistic concerts, seminars, and leading retreats.

MAGARET ANNE SMITH - "I Am Determined"
Margaret Anne Smith (Old Roads Ministries) has a voice that is reminiscent of Teresa Brewer.  It has that same sincerety, and appeal, and she has done  a great job with her latest single, "I Am Determined."  The song is not new, but Margaret Anne's style gives it a freshness and appeal that will quickly be received by radio.  She is no stranger to Gospel music, and has a tremendous quality of perfection and a heart that loves God.  She has the ability to captivate an audience with her moving vocal performance.  "I Am Determined" is on HMG-Nashville Christian Vol. 60.  This should be a fast chart climber.

Southern Gospel has fairly few soloists today, and it should please all to know that Margaret Anne is a fine addition to their ranks.
